Yao joined Dragon Argent in 2024 and is highly experienced corporate and commercial solicitor and has worked closely with startups and SMEs throughout her career. Yao advises on a variety of matters including company formation, equity investments, corporate reconstruction, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures and asset and share sales. Yao has also advised clients across a range of sectors. Her vast experience allows her to provide clients with straightforward, friendly and commercially astute advice.
Outside of work, Yao enjoys playing badminton and spending time with her children, while also following her favourite football team Arsenal.

When a shareholder dies, their shares are dealt with by the executors of their estate (if there is a will) or by the administrators under the Intestacy Rules (if there is no valid will). Both the executors and administrators are known as ‘personal representatives’ (PRs).
