We were founded over 20 years ago by our Founder, Chairman and Head of Advisory James who is a seasoned entrepreneur himself. James identified various frustrations and pitfalls associated with traditional professional services providers and has dedicated his career to building an organisation where simple, insightful solutions are the norm. 

We specialise in working with predominantly founder-led SMEs and scale-ups. We have four core disciplines in advisory, accountancy, legal and tax which we deliver to clients through quality guidance and joined-up expertise at each stage of business growth. OUR TEAM

In joining us at Dragon Argent you will be fundamental to scaling our advisory practice. You will work closely with our Founder/Head of Advisory to build and shape this crucial department and will have the support of our expert professionals in servicing your clients. You will complement the current advisory’s team expertise which includes Commercial Strategy, Corporate Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions Advice, Corporate Finance and Strategic Tax.

THE JOB OPPORTUNITY

The role will be part of the senior leadership team and requires a well-rounded professional who can take a diagnostic approach to identifying and solving entrepreneurs and startups biggest challenges. Clients will value your clear and pragmatic advice and you will be the first point of contact with accounting and legal colleagues taking care of execution. You’ll need first class client relationship skills, an entrepreneurial outlook and a great top-level understanding of the spectrum of back-office issues that can slow a founder down. 

You will be expected to build your own portfolio of clients and will be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy for your section of the advisory practice. You’ll cross sell the full array of Dragon Argent’s services and in some cases, will act as an NED for your clients, taking a position on the board.
